Door Appeal

The former wooden door was installed when the Church was built in 1953. Few years ago, the Church entrance canopy was pulled down due to structural issues. Consequently, the entrance door became more exposed to weather, causing expansion in the winter and contraction in the summer as a result of  humidity, rain and sun. Furthermore, opening and closing the door has become increasingly challenging.

Through the generosity of parishioners and friends of the parish the new Church door has now been successfully installed. Thank you and God bless you all.

The New Door was designed to indicate aspects of the Blessed Virgin Mary whom the parish is named after;

It has ten Crosses representing the 10 Hail Marys in the Decade of the Rosary;

The toughened glasses in the Crosses are blue in colour to represent the colour of The Blessed Virgin Mary.
